Before Ascent ever had a name, this assignment was already complete in Heaven — and God was aligning me to walk in it.
What you see now may look new — but refined.
It began as the Future School of Dance... and through every season — the stretching, the pruning, the isolation, the preparation — God kept unfolding the vision until the timing was right.
This page holds the moments, the obedience, and the faith that formed what He is bringing forth now — in excellence.
God is the One Who awakens what He placed inside you. Here, you don't just hear truth — you start to recognize who you are, and what's been sleeping begins to rise.
God reveals purpose with clarity. And I help you build the discipline to carry it — posture, presence, purity, and confidence — so you don't just "have a gift", you have a foundation.
God matures what He starts — layer by layer. I steward the process with stucture and consistency, until your life reflects fruit... not just talent.
I'm not telling this story all at once. I'm walking you through it piece by piece, so you can witness how God shaped it, refined it, and unveiled it in His timing
For nearly twenty years i poured myself into teaching and building through what became the Future School of Dance — creating productions, coaching champions, watching rooms overflow and then empty again — yet deep inside i knew i was still living inside a smaller version of what He had shown me. I was moving in my gift, but not yet in the full weight of my calling. I had put myself in a box; Heaven had not.
Doors opened and closed, studios filled and emptied, people celebrated me and then walked away — but through every rise and fall, God was refining me. The jealousy, the betrayals, the spiritual warfare, and even the seasons that looked like failure were never about my worth; they were about my preparation. Heaven was breaking my agreement with “small” so I could carry the weight of what He had already written over my life.
When I left Nassau, Bahamas and stepped into the United States, I didn’t know I was walking into a divine displacement. Alabama came first. The atmosphere was heavy, the opposition was sharp, and God began showing me clearly: “You do not belong here.” The hostility, the rejection, the spiritual pressure — they were signs I ignored because I was attached to the wrong person and blinded by loyalty, not destiny.
What looked like loss was God's way of repositioning me
When the environment grew unbearable, Florida came next. But instead of relief, it became another classroom. The promises people made fell through. The help we were told we would have was never real. Doors that should have opened stayed shut. And then came the breaking point — the night everything fell apart and we ended up with nowhere to go but the shelter.
I spent one night there, terrified and completely out of place. That was my wake-up call. God was saying, “Daughter, this is not your home. You are not planted here. You must return to where I assigned you.” And He made a way. He used strangers — people who didn’t know me — to place money in my hand so I could leave. We went to the airport with nothing but faith, waiting on God to open the door. In His timing, provision came, the tickets were secured, and I was on a flight back to Nassau, Bahamas.
It looked like devastation.
But it was direction.
God was removing me from environments that could not birth who I am.
Then came the breaking — not to destroy me, but to separate me. When the pandemic hit and the Future School of Dance collapsed, it looked like loss, but in my spirit I knew it was a divine reset. In the hidden years — in Nassau, Bahamas, on assignment in Africa, and later in the quiet, stretching seasons in Alabama — God was cutting ties I would have never cut on my own and renaming my future. Those journeys were not random locations on a map; they were altars where He trained my spirit, stretched my capacity, sharpened my discernment, and whispered the blueprint of what would become Ascent Academy & Ministries and the Unbroken journey. What began as the Future School of Dance became more than choreography, more than productions, more than excellence — it was preparation for purity, posture, purpose, and power. As you read this page, my prayer is simple: that you don’t just learn my story — you feel God awakening your own. Because none of this was built for applause. It was built for ascension.
What God built through every battle now stands with purpose
Everything I walked through was never only about me. What others called setbacks were divine setups. God was shaping a voice — a voice for the voiceless, a guide for those who feel unseen, unheard, or bound. He said to me, “Daughter, you’re not going through this for yourself. You are going through so you can go back and pull others out.”
The betrayal, the jealousy, the breaking, the homelessness, the rebuilding — every season carried a purpose. God wasn’t just teaching me; He was entrusting me. He was giving me eyes to see bondage in others, ears to hear silent cries, and authority to speak freedom.
This is why youth empowerment matters.
This is why women's empowerment matters.
If you reach the young early, you save the woman before she breaks.
If you heal the woman, you transform a generation behind her.
God trained me not just to build dancers —
but to build identity, purity, strength, dignity, and purpose.
To awaken God’s daughters before the world devours them.
Out of that mandate, God didn’t lead me backward — He led me forward into what He had already written. Ascent Academy & Ministries is that forward step, the place where everything He has been training in me finally comes into alignment. Under this one covering, He brought together the Dance Academy, Pageantry & Poise, Youth Empowerment, Women’s Empowerment, Word & Worship On-Demand, and the book Unbroken: A Sacred Journey — the written testimony of this path.
This house was built to awaken identity, heal hearts, and call daughthers high
This is not a business idea; it is a God-built house. A consecrated training ground where movement and ministry meet… where He shapes discipline, He restores identity, He rebuilds confidence, and He protects purity. In this home, yes, we may train the body — but it is God who strengthens the spirit. On the surface it may look like dancers, queens, and classrooms, but it is the Holy Spirit who is raising daughters to know who they are in God. That is why He named it Ascent: because every class, every conversation, every moment is designed to lift His daughters higher than the places that once tried to bury them.
And whether that happens through a quiet moment at the barre, a poised walk across a stage, a hard truth spoken in a youth circle, or a tear-soaked breakthrough in a women’s session, the assignment is the same: that every girl, teen, and woman would be anchored by His presence and His Word in identity, purity, and purpose in Him, so they don’t live a drifting, meaningless life outside of God’s will, but rise in the very story He wrote for them.
If you are reading this as a parent, I need you to know: your daughter was not created to “just dance” or “just be gifted.” God has already placed purpose, purity, posture, and spiritual strength inside of her. At Ascent Academy & Ministries, the studio and the youth empowerment rooms work together: in dance, she learns to move with excellence, discipline, and grace before God; in youth empowerment, she learns how to anchor her identity in Him, process her story in truth, and recognize the difference between God’s voice and the noise of the world. This is where identity is awakened early, before the world has a chance to distort it.
And if you are a parent who has walked through battles of your own — silent fights, unseen pressure, disappointments that tried to harden your heart — hear this clearly: God has not forgotten you. You are not failing because you can’t “fix everything.” He has already written purpose into your life and into your child’s life. You are simply being led to position her (and even yourself) in a place where that purpose can grow, heal, and rise in Him.
If you are a woman who leads in public but cries in private, or one who has been carrying wounds, secrets, or exhaustion behind a polished mask, you are seen. Women Empowerment at Ascent is not about performance; it is about healing, truth, and alignment. And in the worship spaces — flags, movement, intercession, and the Word woven together — God uses worship to restore dignity, break cycles, and reawaken the warrior and the daughter inside of you. Your story does not disqualify you; under His hand, it becomes the very place He speaks through. You were never created to live numb, hidden, or broken; you were created to rise in Him — on purpose, fully awake, and unshakable.
If you feel a pull as you read this, do not ignore it. That tug is not from me. It is the Spirit of God reminding you that destiny is awakening — not someday, but right now.
Ascent Academy & Ministries exists for this one reason:
so that every daughter God entrusts to this house — child, teen, and woman — doesn’t only rise…
she rises in Him.
